German Card 1

Protect the big gun and pound down an Ami Inf, good start.


American Card 1

Try and get that bashed up Inf out of the firing line.


German Card 2

One Ami Tank squad down.


American Card 2

Wounded Ami Inf Squad protected somewhat for now.


German Card 3
last card of The Great German Center Hill Assault

Germans decisivly take the hill, clearing the third and last Ami to occupy the hill. In taking the Center hill the Germans gained two Medals and smashed an Ami inf to one figure at a cost of one German figure.


American Card 3

Down 10:1 in figures lost, the Americans... move a tank up on the Left. At least its not raining Stukas.


German Card 4

Its raining Stukas and two Amis are hit, increasing the figure count to 12:1.


American Card 4

Ami's pass up a 1 shot at a Panzer to move an Armor to a more advantageous position. We will see him again later.


German Card 5

German Right stirs and the Ami tank thinks better of his earlier advance.

After two cards of quietness the Ami make some noise... scoring one hit but not the two needed on German Left artillery.


German Card 6

German Left artillery responds, scoring an infantry hit.... and a vassl glitch is spotted, the barrage also hit a figure each in a second Ami inf and two German infs. Hit count should now be 13:2, but Is now 14:4. Oh well, press on.


American Card 6

Amis quietly make a threatening move twoard the wounded German artillery.


German Card 7

The Germans move to protect said artillery from direct fire.


American Card 7

With direct fire against the wounded German artillery blocked, Amis begin counter-battery..


German Card 8

Germans fully engage the Ami Armor in the woods, score one hit.


American Card 8

Ami Armor responds in kind and counter-battery again misses.


German Card 9

The firefight continues and the Germans score again with the infantry taking down the Ami Armor. Germans lead now in medals 3:0 and up their figure count to 14:5.


American Card 9

Ami counter-battery hits it mark on the 3rd try.


German Card 10

Effective counterattack accross the board, scoring 5 hits, increasing hit count 22:9

In dire straits the Amis call on 'Their Finest Hour' and do well, scoring 5 hits of thier own. This card was also the last of The Great Eleven Card Right Side Firefight that ends with the Amis in sole possesion of the Right Side, which may not be all that good, since the fighting will now be to the Center and Left were the Germans have 'everyone' and outnumner the Amis 36:18. With only 4 cards, doubtfull the Amis will be able to effectivly reinforce from their right.

Germans, shooting effectivly all day, look to drive a stake into the Amis with a well positioned Armor Assault and two easy targets and move the medal count to 5:3... and wiff wide.


American Card 11

Americans in turn do not wiff at all, and smash the German Left Side armor with their wounded armor. Amis take the medal count lead at 4:3.


German Card 12

Germans repenish some armor but fail to hit their nemisis, again.


American Card 12

The two enemy armor units continue to trade shots.


German Card 13

The wounded German armour retreats and the infantry move up to take on the American armor, and also miss. The single Ami armout figure has with stood 10 shots


American Card 13

The Amis swarm and smash the elite German armor with 9 retreat-proof shots. Medal count is 5:3 Ami and Ami Center all of a sudden 'safe'.


German Card 14

The Germans finally nail the American MVP. With one tank figure this Ami unit eliminated two German armor and then held the German attention while a Center ambush was set up for the elite German armor in the Center.

And now the Americans become the 'hunters', retaking the Center hill that saw three American units quickly elimnated earlier.

Germans scramble.

BOOM, American artillery opens up across the line

Germans scramble more.

American elite Armor take the crest of the Center hill

Germans try and get their right up.


American Card 17

The American artillery barrage continues and again clears the Right Side of Germans, sending the rest into full retreat.
