Americans setup such that the Germans were allowed discard as often as they wanted to move up and engage US 50 cal now in G7. So Time 1 was a long turn during which the Germans got their HMG in I7 and the duel began. Germans had to blink first when it was their turn, broken units and no recover card, so they advanced out behind the woods into an unexpected wire. Sgt Buehler then rushed I7 with a needed recover card to end at full strength in I7. Germans still did not have a recover card and were unable this time to break an American, so come the American turn Sgt Buehler lit up Sgt Ganz's hex with panzerfausts, 15 rifles, and an HMG.
