Huns decalre for [8.4] Earned Breakoff.
It was 'ruled' in Ref Central the to get an Earned Breakoff #2
the side actually has to decalre at the begging of its turn, and
the counting begins. And theres #1, the other side grants.
In the meantime:
110#2, 1611, SW, 1.9, 7.0+, LB, 3.5d, SHD
M(0), -, 7H
MC=-0.3 V=0 OC=0
7H
(1da+3dv)-(2os+3.5c)=-1.5
110#2, 1305-1206, SW, 1.6, 7.0+, LB, 1.5d, SHD
~~~ Ivan grants the Breakoff. The 110 Wingman goes home. ~~~~
Huns:
Any thoughts on the scenario? To repeat the ones I gave earlier:
○ I was wondering about the Me 110... and now I know, it is not a front line fighter.
A bank of '4' just wont do.
○ In this scenario my 110 went in for his best shot and wiffed
○ The wingman stayed with with his leader till the end and also got off a shot that
held the possibility of a critical hit.
○ And the wingman was able to speed on out, that was fun.
○ Back on the 110... the WotM notes say the same thing, that by '41 this A/C was
no longer a 'fighter'.
Ivan:
I loved the roll rate on the I16- basically snap roll for free. Makes for a
great dogfighting machine.
I did want more firepower though.
I was lucky with the die rolls.... my only gripe with this game system
really..the randomness of the initiative and shot die rolls.
You can work your arse off to get a good shot in and it really boils down
to the die roll at the end.
But the scenario is setup that way to get the shooting in on the first
few turns and it was nice to get straight to it.
It would have been more interesting with different shot results for sure.
