Game 2:
This time the Yak recruit added free transition induced facings to his left turns making for a more difficult time for the following 109. The east Yak went vertical to spin west asap. The east 109 heading west soon turned around, maybe hoping to get a shot on the east Yak, and the east 109 was then heading east. So the east Yak (now called the Ace Yak) was freely booking west to help his recruit and got some shots off to grab the west 109's attention.
Such was the first pass. Both sides looked to 'turn around' for another, did so, and the Ace Yak was the one to get a shot off. The two more passes with no shots and both sides flew home, neither side severly damaging the other (though a 109 is gonna have a hard time landing).
