Early on a Pete lined up for a point blank 30° shot [05]. F4#2 hits a Rufe damaging the engine [T07]. Rest of the game will see the F4's looking to finish this wounded Rufe off with the IJN trying to protect her. This led to a pretty neat 'convergence' on [T11] that brought the wounded Rufe more time. The Rufe then completes an Immelmann at minimum speed and -4 decel [T13]. The F4 follows suit but with the Rufe almost just hanging in the air the F4 cant help but to putter on by. [T17] and [T18] see the formation of a float plane Lufbery, always cool. The Lufbery collapses when an F4 braves it to get one more shot at the wounded Rufe, but just as all planes get a 'come home' signal it is the other Rufe that gets the last shot, and the poor USN pilot took a fatal round in the cockpit [T20]. | ||
