Is it needed turn 2? 3? 4? No. When then? Lets say you shift them turns 2,3,4,5.., but when its time to count for victory, thats a count too, the only one that matters, so I prefer to cut out the 'unofficial' earlier turn counts.

One can see the board and know when the need to count comes. Around turn 16 I be counting. Right now your Krauts are bashing friggin to hard on the Frogs for me to take my eyes off them for ANY leangth of time. You are correct on the auto VP.... if the Germans make inroads into Italy or Russia I will count early.
