US/Japan Mutual Defense Pact [9] Formosan Resolution [10]
Turn 9 USSR expends beaup coup ops to take Japan at 4/8*. However, for the the 3rd time the USA has the US/Japan Mutual Defense Pact card, and this time they play it for the event. Great game, USA wins by 3. Many scores would have resulted in a USSR win... USA scored Europe for 0/5/5/5, spaced OPEC twice among others (Flower Power netted -6VP). * Formosan Revolution was active from Turn 1. Soviets held the China Card till Turn 5 when they played it. USA never played the China card, and in Final Scoring Formosa tipped Asia to the USA for 5vp.

Wargames [10] Steamroll [6] No Soviet Presence in Europe (?) [9] Man In Earth Orbit [7]
Looking good, our Soviets won early Korean and Indo-Pak wars. Last card Wargames and all. In Early War USSR got both Decol/Destal, that and an awsome Turn 6 hand that netted 13 VPs (such as Brush War (-1+), Arms Race (-3), and Muslim-Revolution/Middle-East-Scoring for -4VP. Pre Turn 9 Headline had no Soviet Presence in Europe... (well, a USA Hail Mary, though Africa Scoring at -10VP came first). Defcon Win involving 'CIA', 'Ask Not...', 'Five Year Plan', Soviets yet with 'Grain Sales' and too far down the Space Track to space it.

Tear Down This Wall [10] Tie [10] Cameroon [10] Bear Trap [8]
Went the distance for a 5VP game. Turn 9 with 'Tear Down This Wall' USA coups and takes East Germany, breakin USSR control, a 6VP swing. That, and final tally with Central American Control (8VP) Yep, a tie. A USA win on PlayDek and tournaments. Cameroon couped 5 times, most on turn 4. Turn 5 Soviet Headline to Turn 6 s1 saw a -29VP swing, from 13VP to -16VP. Final Scoring saw the USA net 18VP. Turns 4/5 took Soviets 5 cards to get out of Bear Trap, very good for the USA.

All In Asia Scoring [4] Slaughter[5] Chile [9] Cambridge Five [10]
My dim witted Soviets played Decolonization Turn 1 AR4 at DefCon 4. USA promplty took Africa with two coups leaving the USSR to take Asia. A Soviet DeGaul Turn 2 Headline Kept Eroupe from Scoring USA. Soviets then got Three Asia/SEAsia (and Two Mideast) scorings before Africa scored. USSR batted 1000 for 3/3 (Destal & two Decol). Still, was Dominate in every region. Chile saw fighting every turn from Turn 4 through Turn 8. USA lost France to Cambridge Five on Turn 2 Headline. Turn 6 USA scored the full 11VP on an African Control. Africa was 3VP in final scoring.
Lone Gunman II [8] via Ames Malaysia [5] Summit [10] Slow Burn Auto [7]
Title says it all Trun 1 USA makes an early move into Malaysia, we Coup and sew up Asia, that scores repeatedly against USA control of Europe and the Middle East. Turn 10 Headline saw the USSR win an USA(+2drm) Headline of Summit. Differeance between -14VP and -18VP. USSR then went for a Space hoping to end the game Now.. and did. Not sure how the Soviets managed 20VP with one Decolinization vs two VoA and two Colonia Rearguards always suppressing Soviet scoring cards. The net 10VP in MO's is part. And the Turn 3 Headline where Defectors blocked Europe Scoring was neat. Niether side scored more than 3vp at a time.

Early Replays
Holding 'OAS Founded' [6] Solidarity [10] Pakistan [10] Solidarity II [10] Lone Gunman [10] via Terrorism
First win. Held 'OAS Founded' over turns 4 & 5 into the last Turn 6. Great Game. Europe scored turn 3. Soviets CONTROLLED Europe T6AR1 through T8AR3. Epic fight for Poland, which ended the game at USA 19*/12. Turn 10 saw a full Glasnost Event, followed by a net USA 5vp win. Lots of fighting for Pakistan, which ended the game with USA 21inf. Also a cool Soviet takeover of West Germany when the USA 'Quagmir'ed themselves. Great Game Again. Turn 9 [began]/[ended]: WGermany [6*/1][11/15*] & Poland [1/4*][10/14*]. Turn 9 also ended with Soviet CONTROL of Europe. Turn 10 USA used 'Ask Not' and got back 'Solidarity' and the rest is written on the walls of Freedom. USSR pulled out a win with 'Lone Gunman' via 'Terrorism', a good thing too.
